Is it possible to upgrade Joomla and Corporate2 from 1.5 to 1.7

I am having a heck of a time upgrading Joomla 1.5 to 1.7

Is there any documentation on how to do this.

I when I import the database I receive a bunch of errors.

Upgrade template from 1.5 to 1.7 it could be possible because they are build on different frameworks. Templates for Joomla 1.5 use T3 as a base but all for Joomla 1.7 use Gavern Framework.
