MENU PROBLEM

Hello everyone, and I apologize in advance for my English I'm Italian and I use the google translator.
I have a problem with the menu template.

I checked out the menu template to create HTML pages in order to have the same header and footer of the site without using the wrapper.

However, with a page created in this way, and only with Internet Explorer (I use IE8) and in particular this one:
