Joomla 1.6?

Hi.

My next project it's an online newspaper, and obviously, this template is my first chose :laugh:

However, it doesn't seems a good idea to start a new project with joomla 1.5. I mean, I could do it, but if I start with 1.6, it will save me a lot of work in the future.

So the question is:

Is there any chance this template will have a 1.6 version?

Edit: I hope this topic doesn't qualify as a future template enquiry, like the ones it is said not to do, in this forum rules. I mean, I just want to know if I should go with a 1.5 ou 1.6 Joomla. Thanks

there is no eta on when twn will be ported to 1.6...

1.5 will live on for years im sure, and support for it in joomla community also...

Explodedk is right. 1.5 is better for now, because 1.6 is a new one and not every extention was recoded to it so there is less possibilities than with 1.5.

imo 1.6 is still to new to migrate a live site too.. althou if the site is to use only with build in joomla components etc, it's awsome..

Not so awsome for me

I've lost a job because of it's build in panel content access. I was hired to build such component for 1.5 and client resigned after seeing 1.6

Anyway 1.6 is truly awsome.

Sorry no news about this template. We are trying to release couple of templates in 1.6 monthly but the line is long.
