The World New Template

Hi Sir/Madam,

I downloaded The World News template after seeing this "delivering daily round-up of the latest breaking news stories, information, online news service, high-profile global cases and current stories as they unfold".

I need to know how I can get current stories from Google, Reuters, Associated Press., CNN or other news sources by using The World News template and its modules.

No. I did not get any respond. It seems the moderators of this forum don't respond that oven. I am looking for other Joomla template providers with more support.

Hi

This question is about standard joomla feed functionality so not related with the template. Please see joomla forums/helpfiles or look for a module which is feeding the articles manager with the newses from certain pages.

Here is what your The World News template said "Delivering daily round-up of the latest breaking news stories, information, online

The word Delivery means automated not manual. That is why we thought The World News template have a feed mechanism.

Template doesn't but all joomla instalation does in standard. Please just see option COMPONENTS >> FEED .

The phrase is a cliche. It is a site designed especially for news presentation. Not wanted in any way communicate the idea that it was all automatic. :huh:

Anyway, you can use FEED joomla resources or even use the numerous free extensions available for this purpose the extensions directory of joomla.

the word "delivering" is just a standard term among news & media professionals and no one in his right mind could ever imagine a way to trick anyone,

anyway... I've used this very good one for someone who wanted an automated news portal, with the help of a component called Feedbingo

I've wanted to install gk_twn_quickstart_J! 15 on joomla 1.5 and at my local supplier but has access to the administration console or my joomla site j have an error message:

jtablesession::Store Failed
DB function failed with error number 1146
Table 'diaspora_ob.ob_session' doesn't exist SQL=INSERT INTO `ob_session` ( `session_id`,`time`,`username`,`gid`,`guest`,`client_id` ) VALUES ( '1vajk0dn51qg80l9l50ja40fd6','1291116779','','0','1','0' )

Have you checked with your hosting company? Sounds like a hosting issue.
