My authors cant post.

My authors have permission to create articles but when they sign in their isnt anything that says they can post.
please help,

I installed the quickstart.
so i know i didnt do anything wrong because i didnt edit the permissions or anything else.

I clicked on the k2 - add new item (It didnt work)
Then i clicked the add new article and it also didnt work.
Is there anything i need to need to edit in the files.

Hi

I was able to log in and add new k2 item without any problem. Are You sure the user You are using is not restricted from creating new content ? It looks like that from the menu on screenshot.

Its because you are an administrator.
If you were an author rank you wouldnt be able to post.
Thats what my problem is, i cant give my writers admin permission.

So all of this means that it's a matter of configuring permissions for editors. You should ask on joomla forum about this.
