Logo Loading as Last Image on Page

Hi,

I'm not sure why, but the logo is loading with each click on a new page, and it is obviously not refreshing. I changed the logo dimensions by editing the gk_header.php file, and then I switched the old image for my image. My new logo is only 2.0kb, and lots of much larger images are loading faster on the page. The delay is probably about 1 second after everything loads.

Question:

1. Can you think of any reason why this would be displaying so late in the page display process?
