Turn off thumbnails in slideshow

I have gone to the gavick image slide module and set the thumbnails to false and they still show on the slideshow when I hover over the navigation? is there any way to hide the thumbnails? Thanks in advance

Shameless bump on this - as I still cannot turn off the thumbnails that seem to popup when you hover over the controls on the slideshow? Can anyone help with this???

This cannot be that hard??? I am confused as to how to do it - can anyone help? The thumbnails just wont go away?
