If Financial Business is the July template, which one is June's?
... and then which one is May's, April's, March etc...
I think you'll find we are missing a template so far this year IF you're saying Financial Business is the July template

forget about it. i am following gavick since 2 years now. not a single promise about releasedates was held.
it´s a running gag in our community. we say "gavick +7" which means templatereleasedate plus seven days..

if you stick to this everything will be fine

and i also miss a template but:

always remember:

"12 templates in 12 months" - noone said 1 template a month.

... and do you really think they'll deliver 2 templates in December if they don't catch up by then???

I think a news template was needed. Hopefully based on K2 also and social sharings well done...

k2 is not compatible with joomla 1.7

I hope it can add top position block as default for more useful function and job tasks.

K2 or Zoo aside, I subscribed to a Personal Package as a sort of trial with Gavick, with the intention of upgrading to Developer Package if things went smoothly. I used to think Gavick was one of the premier Joomla template providers, but the erratic releases of monthly templates (or even pre-release screenshots) means that I definitely won’t be renewing or upgrading.

New template is called "The World News II".

The files are ready and we are only making a final revision to check if something is missing or needs adjustment. The demo will be release today and files next 1 or 2 days.

There's no sense to publish any screenshots since you can see it full demo today.

Around 10 days ago Gavick advised that a new template would be published 8 August. Now the version is that you can see it 8 August but don't bother trying to download it for up to another two days..
A year ago Gavick.com earned a lot of bad publicity by not sticking to commitments... Nothing appears to have changed.. Customers want some sort of certainty as they plan their own online life based on template releases.. it is about making decisions based on accurate information. 10 days ago Gavick should have published .. you can see it on 8 August but no files till 10 August..

We respect your opinion and apologize for the delay.
We have been working hard to upgrade templates to J!1.7 and making new development ideas for near future, along with template months release.

We assure everyone (like already Robert Gavick announced) that no one will by private from having this template and next support 3 weeks, for those who have their subscription ending.

About the release of files, it's more probably to release files tomorrow.

As far as I'm aware Gavick are under no obligation to release a template on the first day or even first week of every month,as long as there is a new quality template every month I am more than happy

I think people need to understand the workload they have at the moment,as Seichinha has pointed out they have been working hard to upgrade templates to J1.7 and this months template will J1.7 on release. The last few months have been difficult for everyone connected with Joomla with the launch of J1.6/J1.7 and the upgrades to templates and extensions. I'm more than happy with the quality of product Gavick release and that to me is more important than release dates.

On a side note,of course they will not release templates using Zoo as it's the property of another Template Club

Speaking for myself, I mentioned that the release dates were erratic, which they are. I have multiple subscriptions with a few template clubs and most of them have a specific release date each month; all I'd like from Gavick is a specific release date each month (whichever date in the month it is) so I can plan ahead with my own workload ...... To me, doing the kind of work I do, a couple of days make a huge difference.

Looking forward to seeing the World News II - it comes just in time for me. As for template release date, given the cost of a subscription to Gavick, the fact that you can actually get someone to answer a question on the forums, etc., I'm not sweating it.

I've been a Gavick customer for a while now - happy so far.
