Hello,

i was wondering if i can use your demo pictures in my own projects.
Is this allowed? If yes: do i have to mention this somewhere, any restrictions?

Best regards

Could anyone please answer this question?

I think it would be interesting for all to know...

I'm not an expert, but I believe so. When I build a website I use pictures from DepositPhotos.com. It seems generally accepted that I won't be the one using these pictures, but rather the client. Given this logic, we are Gavick's client, and therefore license is extended.

I think.

Until Gavick clarifies, I would have assumed that pictures are ONLY licensed for use within that demo ONLY . . . whilst icons/graphics (which have presumably been created by Gavick themselves) are free for all to use.

Hi

It's exacly like GenoPeppino said. Buying the template means that You are buying all what comes with it.

Hi Teitbite . . . so where do you source the images that are used within the templates from?

Hi

I do not know the source, but this was the first question I've been asked since I've started working here :)

No problem teitbite, I was just curious as licencing was an issue that cropped up with regards to image usage with a colleague recently. He'd used a "free" image from a website, and later found Getty taking out legal action on him for illegal usage of the image (even though the site he got it from was giving it away free). Easily solved by removing the image but not a nice situation.

Hi

Yes. I know legal is important. Couple years ago I've make a photo of part of the map (using my camera and map was on paper). I got a lot of trouble because of that.
