The modules towards the bottom of the page on the Gavick homepage, the ones that list the latest articles in a category/section with a link to the overall category/section, ones for News & Blog and Updates (usually there's one for forum too), what modules are they? they're just what I'm looking for.

List the last 5 articles in a Category/Section with a link to the Category/Section, I need that, where can i get it.

See picture below if you're not sure which modules I mean

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think it's the Latest News Module which came together with Joomla. Thats the one I used similar functions with your screenshot. Below is the description:

This Module shows a list of the most recently published and current Articles. Some that are shown may have expired even though they are the most recent.
