:S There is a serious problem. I finally found the best admin template so far. It's called Mission Control. The problem with it when I subscribed to Gavick: It's not working at all with the new templates.
To make this more clear. The editor (mostly TinyMCE) doesn't show up when editing articles (Joomla & K2 etc.). I think there is a main problem with the use of JavaScript's. A website which contains to many scripts is a wrack and mostly works not if you turn that off for what reason ever (security etc.).

About Mission Control. I started to use it because it makes the administration of my websites a lot easier and it's simple. Also I can work a lot faster with this template in the admin area. Maybe one of you have another admin template for me which is like this?

I still need a workaround for the "editor is not showing up" problem under the use of Gavick templates.

hi,
I only know this problem with the standard joomla-admin layout and JCE. with tinyMCE I have no problems. but I think you are on the right way, it will be a problem with mootools versions or other javascript libraries (jquery) or which of them loads first. you can also have problems, if you use some optimazion tools, like weboptimizer or ja compress.
nice greetings

I run my own servers and can make that a fact that no compression and web optimizers are running. I think it's the use of mootools. But it has to work somehow. The standard Joomla administration templates are like "back to the 90's". They are not made for efficiently work.

Hi

We are not using any additional things to Joomla panel. SO I believe the problem is connected with a joomla version not a template.

I use for the first your Quickstart packages. After I made my notes and looked at it I delete everything and install my own Joomla installation plus your template, plugins and modules I need. In both ways the Mission Control template doesn't work proper.

If I reduce my internet connection speed and clear out all caches the editor is shown shortly but hides instantly after loading is finished. If it's not a problem with your templates why does it only happens with your templates?
Something is wrong with the loaded JavaScript libraries.
I have another website running with Mission Control and it's working well. The template came from another developer.

I just found a thread in the forum to Mission Control about JCE in K2 which makes problems. Didn't you deliver the newest version of K2 in your Quickstart packages? If so I have to update it within the next days.

Okay K2 is on it's latest version. The editor problem is not only on K2 articles it affects all standard articles too. Something happens here. Maybe you could proof it. Mission Control is a free admin template.

I think I found the problem: GK Typography plugin
I disabled step by step every plugin which came with the package. After I disabled the GK Typography plugin the editor shows up normally. I don't need the GK Typography plugin so the problem is solved for me.
