Do it in 1.5, otherwise you will find out that there are only few 1.6 templates. I learned that few days ago and now I have problems because Gavick has only two or three 1.6 templates.

Yes that's true. There is not many templates for joomla 1.6 available. We are working on recoding the existing one right now, but it will take some time.

PS: If anyone is interested I can make a 1.6 tmplate for You from any existing site/templeate/own wishes. Please just mail me :)
