Is there a licensing option to build using your Gavern framework if I wanted to make my own template?

Hi

Still nothing. Also I haven't heared about it for some time. So I believe working with a prepared template will be the best for now.

Thanks for your reply... but it doesn´t answer the important question. What about legal and copyright stuff? Is it possible to use the underlying framework at all? I mean, in a similar way like Joomlart suggest it for T3...

Hi

I'm not familiar with a legal stuff in this particular case, but You are allowed to make any changes to the bought templates except removing the author from file headers. So I believe making a new template based on an old one is a customization.

Hi

There is no official release of Gavern framework with blank template yet, so right now Your question is more in area of template customization which is allowed except removing author info from core files.

Sorry for asking again. Just want to be sure... because it is an important topic.

Thats how I understand it:

- Basicly I could use GAVERN FRAMEWORK
- Logo and Author infos have to be visible and un-touched (same as for JA T3)
- Currently no basic/blank template available

I am unsure about:

- I could use another template as a basis? (removing all styling and graphics made by Gavick.com!)
- I can sell my new Design, CSS and images under MyNewSuperCool Template Name?

Hi

Blank GAVERN framework is being prepared.
You can replace logo and author from page, but need to keep all such informations in files headers.

Yes, You can redo any of our templates. Unfortunately You cannot mass sell it, but a single sell for a client You've redone the template is permited. I think with blank GAVERN more privilages will be available.
