Joomla 1.6 and Gavick Templates/Extensions

Joomla 1.6 seems to be available anytime soon now, so the question will be up soon as well if new web sites shall be still developed under 1.5 or start on 1.6 already.

Can you guys give us an overview to which extent your products are ready for 1.6 already or what your schedule/plan is to get there?

I trust that such a "road map" would be extremely helpful for all of us / your customers

I am also interested in this topic as well. I am excited about 1.6, but I am worried that it might not be backward compatible ...

Is there a roadmap from Gavick? I have 4 websites that run on Gavick, so I need to know that I am still safe!

i think they just don't knwo i am trying for weeks to contect them on skype. and on the forum i did find several topic concering this topic.
I was planning to buy a year but. i fear they stopted?

Our extensions will be upgraded to GK4 version and ported also to Joomla! 1.6 - News Highlighter, News Show Pro, GK Weather, GK Stock, GK Tab, Image Show - all will be Joomla! 1.6 compatible (some extensions are already compatible - NSP and GK Weather - beta versions are available on our bug tracker - pm.gavick.com).

Additionally till end of this month we want to start templates recode (now we're working on template skeletons to start the recode process).

what does a customasation cost? off the sporter template that it can be used for 1.6?
and how fast can you deliver?

sorry but at present I'm not working with custom works - we're very busy till end of this year.

Just to confirm then, none of your templates are currently compatible with Joomla 1.6?

Also I don't supoose anyone knows whether the upgrade process from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 1.6 is going to be as much of a nightmare as the upgrade from Joomla 1.0 to Jooml1 1.5?

At the moment, no template is compatible with J!1.6.

the beta of nsp is 1.6 compatible.. but bear in mind, that it is still beta.

How far will you be going back in terms of porting templates to support Joomla 1.6?

all t3 v2 templates will be ported eventually... don't expect everything to be done right away...
