September Template, no news today is 29th whereas promised after 6 or 7 days. Please post an reply.

at least they should post screenshots... anyway, I wonder why they always announce a date and never release the template in that time...

September's template is called SPORTER ...

If possible, I would like to see even a single screenshot of the template of September.
I do a site for a club basketball and I was wondering if it makes sense to wait or should I do differently

This can only be one big joke. The template of September in October. And no screen shoot

Gavick announced to customers that the September template would be issued early in September. They then remained silent for the rest of the month and did not publish a September template at all.. it is to ( perhaps ) be an October template. They will call it a September template to pretend that they honour their commitments to customers. It is better to communicate the facts.

Take your time, a few days is not a problem.

Please don't start any discuss about the same issue again.

Yep it is. Here there's only 3.75 hours left, but I believe Gavick's watch is Las Vegas. So that gives them about a day still.

Template is finished. However, we need a some time to prepare a demo content.
Please be patient, I think the tempalte will be published on our demo server hm... to 12/16 hours.
I know what happens now....

It's the weekend - I can live to wait until Monday. But if it's after Monday, I'm going to have to call the Attorney General to file a lawsuit and then commit suicide because I just can't wait another second to see it!!!

Once again Mr Gavick has misled his customers. Instead of being early September or even 2 October as promised later, it is some time in the future. Saying sorry ( again ) and saying that it is finished but the template still has to have content added is like saying at a car factory that we still have to put the wheels on but it is ready to go.

Tell the truth rather than mislead customers as we make plans, allocate time and delay doing things on what you say.. from now on I will ignore what you say.

I cant believe how people act towards the team. Its like a bunch of children crying about something over and over . Members from Gavick have already said that if it takes them longer to produce the template and your membership runs out they will extend it. Now with that being said, Would you rather them rush the whole thing and give you a template that is just horrible like many of the other providers and then have you complain even more for releasing a piece of crap..I dont think so.
Anyways let me go slit my wrists now because the template isnt going to be up for a few more hours

Businesses, are you saying that car companies are different? If you go buy a new vehicle right now they make you wait to do the paper work, check over the vehicle for any body problems, they clean the inside again and who knows what else..isnt this what gavick is doing.

Adding demo content to a template is so people can see what the template looks like and gives the people that don't know how to customize a template some ideas and parameter examples for the modules. Seriously, give the crying a rest - it got old a long time ago.

Maybe you should do a better job researching my posts, you'll see I'm one of the few members here that go out of my way to help others.


If people are allowed to cry about templates being late, I'm allowed to point out where they are wrong when trying to bash the Gavick Team.

That's what I really don't grasp and instead of people explaining their problems, they just make slanderous comments about the Gavick Team.


If they have problems, they need to man up and handle by contacting Gavick directly to discuss their issues. Instead, they make posts in the forum that solve nothing.

I'm sorry if that comes off with an attitude, hurts your feelings or sounds rude. It's a legit question. Please, explain and some of us that come from all sized companies can help you develop your business plan better.

I also agree that Gavick team shouldnt announce the release of the new templates but I am sure they have to do that because people dont leave them alone with rude comments so they really have no choice. What it all comes down to I think is that they just dont want to release a piece of shit and I respect that even if they are a few days late because of it.

Also a lot of you claim to be web developers. If that is the case then you should understand where the Gavick team is coming from. Customers are always impatient and want a date written in stone and everybody knows thats hard to say before the work has been done. Things come up, problems arise at the worst times

Yeah that is true, they have always been helpful, I rather them take the time to do something quality than rush it, logically.

Also considering the price( very affordable for what you get), they can take all the time they want.

It is interesting to see these threads happen every month, with any club. And I am a member of most you can find out there.

It reminds me of having to wait for my girl yet another looong day until I can finally hold her. You know This is what these threads are like. I love 'm.

LOL HAHAHA.. that picture had me rolling HAHAHA.. I think I lost about $3,000.00 last month stalling a guy to wait on a template. I know I lost $2,500.00 because of Cherry.. I just couldn't sell it to a guy as a base template, I had promised him that he would LOVE the next Template from Gavick.. NOT! lol. I even gave some pointers, to not give dates at ALL because you can't rush artistry, just post some screenies and when the template is here.. it's here. So when these templates are late, and I have nothing else to bastardize into what the customer wants.. I lose real money. I would actually pay $50.00 a month to have weekly updates on the status and design of the templates coming out. Because I lose thousands just wondering..

But on the flipside, get a Gavick template and delete all the articles and categories and just try to come up with a working design lol YOU CAN'T DO IT! so moan and grown if you have to, act like you don't care if you must, either way is understandable. But the bottom line is promises given MUST be met... or don't give them at all

@ devsmi I don't think people are blaming Gavick for projects being late.. I hope not then I agree with you.. But when customers know your skill level and decide to wait on you to build their site, as a developer I've built their site in a few days. The customer is only waiting on a template they like. If that doesn't come in a month or 2 they bolt. I have started to make my customers pay 60% in advance just because of late templates lol.

stlouispartystrippers.com $2,500.00 this dude just decided to make one site because he didn't like Postnuke that much, but he just ordered 3 sites with another template from another template maker so I'll recover that and then some. But it's getting bad losing money just waiting. Gonna hit the bed and dream of the new template.
