Image resizer in article

anyone have experience about free good Image resizer. I see there are many module, plugins but I need simple on. I just need plugin, modulte to resize image automatically or manually.

in general GK forum is not good place for such a question.
But to be honest in past years I used mavik Thumbnails plugin
or
commercial addons for JCE which already had option to resize images during upload.
