We have a template gavick at this address www.dazebaonews.it...we have problem with our dedicated server... Often appears in the site web a white page and then, after a long wait, appears 504 gateway time out, while we are working.
Server's team say that this erorr is in the gavick module...
Query SELECT COUNT(*) FROM gx9la_k2_items WHERE YEAR(created)=2014 AND MONTH(created)=12 AND DAY(created)=3 AND published=1 AND ( publish_user

Nobody can help me about???

Hello,

For me it looks similar to K2 query - I don't remember any query in our modules which uses YEAR or MONTH function. Could you provide a full query or better - file which causes this issue?

The hosting support wrote me about many lines in error_log like this one:

They're saying it's all about news_gk4 and cache.
Is it true?
The cache is now disabled, even the smart search is off.

What can it be?

Please check if you have set a cache time like 60 minutes for all NSP GK4 instances. Often generating of thumbnails can cause performance issues.

But all NSP instances has cache time larger than 0?

With "NSP instances" you mean all the gk news modules?
I installed the quickstart, so the instances should be all the same.
About the first query:
You think is a K2 problem?

In this case all instances should have at least 30min cache.

Regarding the query - yes, in my opinion this query comes from the K2 code - if you will send me a full query, then probably I will be able to tell you more about this query.

They say it takes the 50% of the cpu. Is it true?

In my opinion you have to upgrade your hosting, because it is an issue with K2 performance.

we have improve the server (we change hosting as well), but the problem persist...Here the results of the research of the systemist: as you see K2 is involved all the time.
When we are inserting new articles appear:

You have to definitely consult your issues with K2 team, because your issue is strictly connected with the efficiency of this component. I won't be able to help you more with it, because I'm a not author of this component.
