Fatal error: Call to undefined method shopFunctionsF::getCom

Hello,

I installed new virtuemart 3.0
new install of joomla 2.5

Installed instyle theme but that issn't workong correct, beez is working good,

Fatal error: Call to undefined method shopFunctionsF::getComUserOption() in /var/www/vhosts/kerckhoeve.org/httpdocs/templates/gk_instyle/html/com_virtuemart/user/login.php on line 22

Hi

VM 3 was released only a couple of days ago. We are still working to adjust our products to to that. Please use older VM version till the updated template will be available.

I used an older version of VM - 2.6.6 with Joomla 3.3 (Bike Store came with Joomla 3.3).

I am getting the same.

Hi

For now please rename C:\inetpub\hydro_wwwroot\templates\gk_bikestore\html\com_virtuemart\ to C:\inetpub\hydro_wwwroot\templates\gk_bikestore\html\_com_virtuemart\ I know that this template will be updated with newest VM shortly so than You will reupload this files and meanwhile this would be the best option.

Can you please inform me when it is stable and safe to upgrade to the latest version of VirtueMart, I have a backup but still hope it won't mess the structure of the website up, I will wait for your word instead of making the above change, for now it is working since I switched to not using Joomla 3 - the issue above was relating to Joomla 3 and bike store with any version of Virtuemart which was unsupported at the time

Hi

You can update to VM3 if You are using Storefront or inStyle template. Those 2 are supporting it already.

We discussed that I am using BikeStore, so not safe for VM3.0 until we are told..

Hi

Acha. That's not good. I would suggest switching to a different template if possible. I'm not VM expert but I think VM 2.6.6 which was working with joomla 3 was a beta version which was dropped because VM3 was released.

When You will change template to Storefront, inStyle, StoreBox or Shop&Buy You will be able to update VM to latest version and most of the problems You have now with this beta version of VM should be gone.

I am now using Joomla 2.5 with VM 2.6.14 and we are getting along fine with BikeStore.
