Small issue after quick start installation

Hello everyone,

I have 3 installations on one domain, the main installation which I rather not touch for now.

Then I have Gavick university in /eng and just recently installed Gavick university again in /en

The eng works fine however the en is directing to en/installation and a 404 error.

If I apply en/index.php in the address bar its brings up the site without issues.

Anyone has an idea what I need to edit to get the installation in /en to function based on the above info.

Wondering why /eng is redirecting but not /en both installed in the same fashion.

Any help is appreciated.

Well just figured it out, looking at both configuration.php files I noticed both sites had the same name. I changed the sites name in the /en directory and now loads without issues. Hope this helps others that might run into the same issue.

If anyone can elaborate on the behavior that would be great.

"en" is a default language for joomla websites, so it was probably not recognised as a different subdirectory, but a parameter for other page. Expecialy if titles were same.
