Never-ending database joomla 3 installation.

]Respectable members of team gavick,
I purchased a subscription to use your templates freely in order to facilitate my work. Unfortunately, I am not able to install the quickstart data packet properly.
I tried any kind of possible solution, including those You offer and some available on forums and online.
My web site is currently host by Altervista.org which allows the free use of spaces and the purchase of the domain. I need to install it successfully in the definitive domain too.
The installation arrests at the database’s creation and, checking within the phpmyadmin, I noticed that it stops at 89 or 250 tables created.
I cannot modify php codes, so I need your help to find a solution suitable to solve all my problems, otherwise my purchase would result worthless.
I can’t find the php.ini file, but I can modify the .htaccess
The current code is:

php_value post_max_size 20M
php_value max_input_time 300

I'm using gk_john_quickstart_J! 3 but I have the same problem with gk_steakhouse_quickstart_J! 3 and I think it's the same for everyone

Please send me a PM message with FTP access and all informations necessary for the installation. For me these quickstarts are working fine, so it must be an issue related to your server configuration.

You have to ask your hosting for disable displaying errors on your directory - I was unable to do it, both in the php files and by .htaccess

In my opinion it is a reason of your issue - that's why in our quickstarts we have added a code for disabling php warnings and notices. Unfortunately in your hosting it is not working.

I think it's easier to buy a web space in which they work definitely your products. Can you suggest me a hosting that you have tested?

In general I doesn't meet earlier a hosting where disabiling php notices is impossible - it is my first time. I can recommend Siteground as they have a good and secure service in a good price.

Hello , I'm still trying to run the quickstart .
Before changing hosting, I would try to install everything in localhost , and move after all .
I tried the installation with xampp but it still does not work ...
but this time I have access to the php.ini file and I can try to change the settings.
There are two php.ini file , can you see if you can do something to solve the problem ?

Hello, I finally managed to install. I used Xampp to create everything locally and then I transferred database and content on the server ... now it works!
I am proceeding with the customization of the template, with no major problems, but I would need to understand how you assign a new user to the blog.
I am attaching a picture so that you can understand ... I deleted the user Gavick, and I've created a new one. The new user created, is visible in the users joomla and inside k2 user.
How can I do?

Hello again,

The only way to assign new K2 user to the exisiting articles is editing articles and selecting a new author.

I tried to follow the instructions but I'm probably wrong again .
It would be perfect if the category "news "
ever burst only objects marked featured . I modified several parameters but , unfortunately , nothing ever changes ...

Please try to upgrade the module, for me it looks like a problem with JS in the module back-end what causes that not all options are properly displayed.
