Hi There,

I don't know if its just me but I'm always having issue with NSPGK5 (latest version) with sh404SEF. I have a NSPGK5 module in the frontpage (Itemid=101) and sh404SEF always uses Itemid=101 by default for all the Articles link. Does NSPGK5 check for Menu Itemid? I know I created a Menu Item for that specific Category where NSPGK5 is pulling the content so I am expecting NSPGK5 to use that Itemid instead of using the Itemid where the module is showing.

Thank you!

Hello,

Our NSP GK5 module uses the native URL helpers which are used in Joomla! or other supported components - so in my opinion it is a bug in the configuration of the sh404SEF component or in its code.

Hi,
I have no problem with it.
Maybe you have to clean the url cache in the url manager (but make a backup of the url cache with the export function before)

Hi dziudek,

:) I just hope in the future, all Joomla developers will get to have a willingness to help each other and not pointing fingers to each other. I am pretty sure if I ask sh404SEF support about this they will say the same thing you do. But, anyways, thanks! :)

Hi Polivka,

It's nice to know that it is working fine in your setup. Well, I have had this issue for a long time and Purging the Cache does not help. Would you mind to share your sh404 configuration? Maybe it's my configuration, but I have spent numerous hours tweaking it but I still have to click Article in the Menu link first for sh404 to create the correct url before I click on NSPGK5 link after purging the cache.

Thanks!

@lacinfosys - I'm usually asking users to get help from the 3rd party extension provider when I'm sure that our code is proper - a lot of users uses it and there was no problems with the links in this module, so our code for generating the links must be ok.
