I've just decided to try John template. I've found a button to download a quickstart. Installed. Surprisingly this does not contains images as life demo. Going back to Gavick for documentation link from template page leads to wrong URl to storefront template. Searching in documentation for John - gets single page https://www.gavick.com/documentation/wo ... uration-2/ with settings. My question is : where is any documentation - and paragraph of explaining how this product is structured and how it works. Give me your experience of understanding Gavick documentation experience.

First - most important question - do you use WordPress or Joomla?

Hi Cyberek, I use Joomla, however I have posted this deliberately outside specific template/platform forum category as I think this issue is generic for Gavick templates. :pinch: My links above were only examples.....

I'm simply failing to find a documentation for a templates (this differs from a problem solving or default setting). I'm yet to find a document of layout describing the simple process most people are struggling with: " So I have bought Gavick template, how do I change content to my own?"
For example : your competition is having something called "Recreate demo" this explains how things appear where there are and why :woohoo:

Ok, so short introduction.
QuickStart package is for those who start from scratch and want to recreate 100% same look as on demo.
Standard themes are for those who have already their site and want to change the look.
For the second kind of users there is a documentation:
https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... iguration/
showing how to setup template and modules to recreate demo look & feel.
Also if you visit demo site, you can click through demo content describing what can be used to achieve different elements.

Now - John is a single page site (in most cases). We usually include some informations on available typography, module variations etc in site menu - but hetre the site menu navigates only through home page - so you need a little trick - you need to enter any blog post, or click this link:
http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/john/in ... -marketing
Now you can go through all available pages in menu describing things.
