Hi everyone,

I just installed gkgrid and msocial. After enabling the grid and setting up the blocks, the whole site is messed up. It shows only an empty white page. When I look at the code with safari, it only shows an endless list of block grid/elements. ..
Also, after reading the documentation I haven't fully understood, how I can assign content to the grid.

Can you help me?

Thx a lot.

Hello,

First of all please check if you didn't put on some of the grid blocks a module position which contains your grid, because it can lead to the infinite loop.

Hello dziudek,

thanks for your answer. Actually you are right :-).
However, i am not able to use the grid as i intended...
For example, i choosed position mainbody in the msocial-template. After naming the grid-elements "main body", it refuses to work and gives me a blank page.
But as i understood, it is necessary to label the grid-elements with the same name as its module-position in the template???

So could you give me another hint showing me how to assign the right names and positions?

Thx a lot in advance from Berlin... :-)

Thanks for your answer. In the meantime i was able to find out who it works by installing the quick start package.
However, without the quickstart package i think it is hard for joomla beginners to find out, who things are done...

Best regards
