Repeatedly updates and pop up window in forum

Hi,
from 3-4 days ago I got repeatedly updates for Highlighter GK5 (I update id 10 times and still I can see there is an update to 1.1) and every time I enter the forum or refresh the forum I got pop up window saying "No new private messages are waiting for you.".

Guess its some cookie glitch.
