I'm currently use jDiction to translate my site to two languages (swedish and english), but I'm having problem translating the Image Show module. I can't find where to do that.

Any advice on how to translate it or how to create a copy and only show it when english is chosen as language?

Our modules may be translated via default Joomla! language files in root/languages/en-GB/en-GB.mod_image_show_gk4.ini we don't support any other 3rd party translation tools.

So if I have a slideshow with Swedish text on top of the image I can't translate it to English in any way? Because I can't do that in the language files. If so it's impossible to use the module with a multi-langual site

I have no idea how this extensions work but we've built our extensions according to Joomla requirements and all translation phrases are inside language file. Creating language files and translation this module text for your additional languages is probably the easiest way. You can contact with extension providers for more details but we use regular Joomla! translation mechanism.

Thank you for the information, but I would like to translate the text that I write on top of the slides. How do I do that? I know that I can translate everything else in the language files, but not the actual text that I write inside the module. Is there a way to do that when not using a language extension?

You have to use different modules for each language version.
Image Show clones each must be assign to only one language. So on each you can use different language strings, labels etc. INSIDE.

@streamcode Yes, you should duplicate module - this part is not saved in language file it is just part of module configuration which you can't translate because it is not available in any language file.
