I deleted an extra user which was on my account (assuming it was built into the template and was unnecessary. Now, I am getting the following error on all pages: "JUser: :_load: Unable to load user with ID: 981" I am assuming it has something to do with deleting the user that was responsible for writing the articles.
Is there a simple way of fixing this? I'm using the in-style template.

Hi,
Joomla don't like when he loses user which was a author of articles. Like in normal book store, when somebody delete all authors name from books.
So what you can do... options:
1) Delete all demo content
2) Go do each article and change author
3) Create a new user and in PHPMyAdmin change his ID to 981
