Image show and SEO

Hi,
I am in charge of the website for my company. I recently have began working on improving search rank (since it's quite bad for the time being). While doing that I noticed that if I searched on the name of the company "Jungle Sports" on Google the Image show URL appeared in the description field retrieved by Google which is quite bad.

Would anyone have any tips on how to avoid this? Tested on Bing too, works better there but that's because Bing retrieves the meta description, while Google seem to ignore it.

You should fill description field in global configuration of the joomla. Only if that field is empty google will use code from html.

I know, it is already filled out and has been since launch. This description is also what Bing retrieves, so the problem is specific to Google.

How long is your site online?

It was launched mid-December.
However it's under a week ago since I put the H1 tag on the front pages so it might hopefully remedy the problem. If not I must consider to remove the image show module if there aren't any other solutions.

Seems to be a general issue for the the image show plugin (at least when on the Bike Store template). I searched for the bike store demo and got the same result. See attached image.

I guess the solution for now will be to use a third party slideshow plugin.

I'll report this issue as a bug.
I'll write back as soon as I'll get an answer from our devteam.
