I use to make use of Progtutor's Google Adsense Revenue Sharing plugin for Jomsocial. The site I used it on was a joomla 1.5 site and it worked mostly ok. However, I'm now using joomla 2.5 and when I tried using the module it appears to be broken. I get some errors at the top of category pages reading:

Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /home/usmhtv11/public_html/scores.fm/plugins/content/JomSocialAdsense4Content/JomSocialAdsense4Content.php on line 369

And as if that's not bad enough, when I click on an article I get an error 500 that reads:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND `apps` = 'googleads' LIMIT 1' at line 1 SQL=SELECT `params` FROM `i3m25_community_apps` WHERE `userid` = AND `apps` = 'googleads' LIMIT 1

I would really like to offer revenue sharing as one of the ways I reward my writers, and in the past, this plugin was the easiest way. I'm a little disheartened to see that it no longer works. Is there a similar extension that someone can refer me to? I've tried surfing the JED, but I keep coming up empty. Surely there has to be something out there.

If not, is there anyone who's programming abilities are sufficient to repair this extension? The Progtutor site has been offline for months and he doesn't answer his gmail account. I would be happy to pay for a working extension.

Thanks, but I'm not really asking for help with it. Clearly the syntax in the install file is too old for my version of MySQL and requires someone with that kind of knowledge to update the file, along with fixing a php error in the main file for the plugin. If there is someone here who does custom coding then I'm interested in talking to them about the job, but there is no support to be expected regarding the extension as it is.

My main purpose in posting is to find out if anyone knows of a similar extension. I've spent quite a bit of time searching and haven't come up with anything, so I think my only options are to either pay someone to fix this one or to hire someone to make a new one from scratch.

Yeah, I thought at some point in the past I had read on here that people do work for hire. I'd much rather hire someone from the gavick community than to go blindly through freelancer, but it looks like I may have to post a job on the other site.
