Disable Cache in Image Show gk4?

Hi Guys

Is there a way to completely Disable image cache in Image Show gk4 please?

I don't want the images to be cached in the /modules/mod_image_show_gk4/cache/ folder,

I would like it to link to the standard image folder and I want to optimise the images myself.

In Image Show there is an option to disable Generating Thumbnails and this will disable creating thumbs in this directory.

Sorry I meant to say to disable cache on the main images.

There is no special cache in Image Show, there is just global Joomla! cache and you can exclude some modules or components from cache.

So how comes the my banner images are in this path:
modules/mod_image_show_gk4/cache/headers.header_mediahub-2ta-home-banner.jpg

Can I just link them to images/my_banners/mediahub-2ta-home-banner.jpg

The main issue is with Google PageSpeed as it's saying the images are too big, but I have reduced them and compressed them in Photoshop. When I upload them to the ImageShow it copies the images into the Cache folder and increases the file size.

That's why I ask about not using the cache folder.

When you disable thumbnails in Image Show the images will be just load from your path so from the place where you upload image using your back-end.
