Still problem with spiders and The World News !!!!

After the update of the World News template I am still experiencing problems with how the spiders see this template.

You still won't rank in the search engines with this template because the first approx. 400 words are the template CSS !

Sorry but this CSS is strictly necessary for template correct work - we cannot move it. Please check this page: http://www.google.pl/search?hl=pl&sourc ... =&gs_rfai=

Everything is indexed correctly so I don't know where you have a problem if you believe that seochat bot simulator is better than Google bot - I wish you good luck.

Please check two examples - one which search gk_wrapper phrase from CSS and other from your website:

site:http://www.alphaonline.nl/2010/index.php LAATSTE NIEUWS

site:http://www.alphaonline.nl/2010/index.php gk_wrapper

As you can see - first phrase returns a lot of results (~700), second - any results. Conclusion ? Google doesn't index styles from your website as Seochat pseudobot do this.

It just can't be good for your rankings if the first 400 words a spider bot sees is CSS. I have never seen this before !

And why is the CSS not displayed in the spider simulator results when I try some of the other templates of Gavick.

Did you understand that this bot simulator isn't work as a Google Bot ? TWN template is based on scaling option which needs CSS rules placed in template head section - Google Bot just ignores CSS styles so it isn't a problem. A lot of pages has embed CSS styles in the page code. As I show - these CSS code isn't indexed so for me it isn't a problem.

ok I got it. The google bot works apparently different than the spider simulator. Sorry for my mistrust, but that's obviously caused by the mistakes in the first version of the template.

I also agree with dziudek in regards to the CSS part. I read in some page loading optimization articles that sometimes having the CSS declared inside the page itself as opposed to having it in different files is a good idea and would result in much faster page loading speeds. And let's be honest, nowadays pageloading speed is also an important factor in Google's ranking algorithm.
