I use GK News on a Joomla 3.1 site and the Redactor JS-editor (because it's slim).
But I have a problem - the cursor is centered (like text align: center) when I'm about to write an article.

Unfortunately I have no settings to make for the Redactor-editor. So I assume I'll have to make some override in the editor.css for GK News. But what and how?

Thankful for some help...

Please try to change template to default Joomla one (Beeze). If problem remains, You should ask on plugin support forum.

Yeah, I have received the PM, and replied that this is probably a problem with 3rd party plugin that we just dont support and to check it out, You would need to change template to default Joomla template and check if problem resists.

It works fine when I use the default Joomla template. So somehow there is some conflict with the templates. Have you also looked at the calendar problem I described?

Best regards,
Joachim

Hmm, strange, I have checked, and in plugins css there is a line:
Code: Select all
div.cck_forms.cck_site div.cck_form.cck_form_wysiwyg_editor{ border:none;margin:0;text-align:center;padding: 0 0 10px 0; background:none; width:100%;}

which makes editor center the cursor (text-align: center).

Perhaps You should ask plugins author for help. I dont know if erasing this centering wont break anything.
