Gavick template bugs and unresolved issues

As having paid a subscription for Gavick templates, I expect them to function 100% when I install them. This is the professional responsibility of Gavick.

When I installed world news II template, both 2.x and 3.x versions right out of the box, both versions of this template have major issues. This raised red flags that there is something wrong with this template.

I then began an exhausting search for solutions to these issues. More red flags were raised when the solution for the first two issues is to hack php files.

This is not the responsibility of a client that has purchased a subscription to have to, first thing start hacking core file. It is Gavick Pro’s responsibility to deliver a functioning product.

OK, I went along with this and hacked both helper files for main NSP and highlighter module. This seemed to clear the issue of articles not appearing from Joomla new categories in those two modules. But the issue of Joomla intro images not appearing still remained unresolved.

Continuing on to next issue, module news show pro GK4 continues not to function correctly throughout the template. Not displaying articles in new categories within other modules using news show pro GK4 and this bug filled convoluted time offset.

I have had it with Gavick and lack of support from the Gavick forum to resolve any of these issues.

As a client and an affiliate I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism of Gavick and angered by the utter lack of functionality and support that I’ve received while a member of Gavick pro
