Highlighter GK4 Does Not Work With Joomla 3

I am currently using Joomla 3.1 with Highlighter for Joomla 3 installed. However, for some reason we are trying to get the data source to be from K2 Category. It does not work at all. I have tried just about everything to make it work. The site URL is: http://kapelleclients.com/groundheat/ If you could let me know how to make that "LATEST NEWS" module function it would be great. This is very urgent. Thanks

Did you check whether highlighter work with default Joomla! content ?

I just checked and it does work with Joomla category. Now how do I get it to to work with K2 Categories as all the items that I need it to show are in a K2 Blog and I don't have time to redo the blog layout for Joomla. Thanks
