Not sure if this is Gavick related or J!3 related.

Readmore <hr id="system-readmore" /> does not function.

I have a menu link to a blog layout and all items have an "introduction" and "main content"
Read more is enabled on the menu settings.

Am I missing something somewhere?

Thanks

Can you please rename following folder to see whether problem is custom styling or general joomla error.

Code: Select all
/templates/gk_startup/html/com_k2/

rename to
Code: Select all
/templates/gk_startup/html/com_k2_testing/

This is if you are using K2 for your items.

Let us know. Thank you.

So this is still not displaying which means there is an error in your joomla setup.

Please check following.

1. You did insert read more link in editor.
2. In Global options read more is enabled. Article manager > on right top "Options". Scroll down and make sure Read More is set to show.
3. In Menu Item "Services" if this is category blog layout menu item, make sure in menu settings Read More button is set to show or if no.2 is set then set it to Use Global.
4. Try using another editor to make sure it is not stripping any code while adding read more link when adding / editing article content.

Alternatively send me an admin access details to my email normanuk[at]live.co.uk and I ll take a look at it.
Please include this topic link in your email.

J! 3.0.x installs require the following in the php.ini

magic_quotes_gpc = Off

The issues I experienced and resolved capably by normanUK is an issue discussed around some forums but not highlighted as a real issue
