K2 Item Main Image behave on click slideshow

Dear Team

Thanks for the great work and great help all the time, we are looking for solution to enhance k2 item image behave on click slideshow.

As you know when we posting k2 articles we are posting only one image, which displays as main image we want to submit multiple images so k2 item main images can behave on click slideshow.

Any recommendations.

Please find example screen and action how its work.

My solution to this is to hide main image in K2 item view and use a k2 gallery plugin. Looks like this plugin http://extend.inceptive.gr/joomla-exten ... e-gallery/ is working the way You are looking for.

Thanks for you reply, But we are in process of Transferring our site from Adhoc CMS and must have to adopt same behaviour as we have Main Images.

But thanks this gallery we already will be using for New Articles.

Ok. So what solution You've used for image slide in old system ? I mean how files will be stored or if during the moving process You will be able to move images to separated folders ? I'm asking because this solution may work with Simple Image Gallery plugin for K2.

Dear Thanks for your reply.

Our old system is disaster but i wrote script to bring images into one folder but still suffering

because each image in our old Ad-hoc CMS is stored into "directory/director/directory/image.jpeg" , each images is leading different gallery even for same post. Was bad logic to store images done by old developers.

For sure we will have unique directory for each k2 Post, can you advice how it will work with simple gallery.

With SIG plugin You will gave gallery images stored like that:

/media/k2/gallery/[article_id]/

which is a good practice if You have a lot of articles with many images in galleries.
