template style gk and jomsocial 2.8

hello guys,,,i installed MUSIC CITY on Jomsocial 2.8 after i confirmed and being notified that Music city is compatible with Jomsocial 2.8 ,,,anyway ,,,here's my website that is on jomsocial 2.6.2 with gk style
and i am testing jomsocial 2.8 with music city on here http://www.thetalentedsociety.com/test1 ... /jomsocial
my question is : is this normal << http://www.thetalentedsociety.com/test1 ... /jomsocial << i mean ,,,i think something is missing in this template,,,the color is not the same ,,i mean like black,,the same as jomsocial 2.6.2,,,anybody wants to help me,,even though i copied GK STYLE and i put it as default template,,,,help thanks

JomSocial is not compatible with Joomla! 3.0 and more information about this you can find on JomSocial website. Instruciton how to update JomSocial you can find in JomSocial theme pacakge in file README!.txt you just need to replace files and update extension.

Note : i am using Joomla 2.5.8 on both installations

i asked you about joomla 3.0 ,,,because i thought Gavick Pro would work perfectly on joomla 3.0 with jomsocial 2.8

The main problem is that JomSocial is not compatible with Joomla 3.0. GK Style for JomSocial is just styling for this component, authors makes many changes between JS 2.6 & 2.8 and this is why some parts looks different - it is not caused by style but changes in component. Please switch to default JS style and compare views you will see what update change.

fact is ,,i found out that GK STYLE on jomsocial 2.8 is different and here's two screenshots that display the difference

if you notice aswell ,,,you'll see that they do not contain the same options specially about Photos,Videos,Events ,,and there's no option in Jomsocial 2.8 Gk Style about Sidebar & Main Content as you see the second screen-shot ,,,the Black Line i put ,,,so i guess this why they look different ,,i am not an expert but i guess its a bug,,,and i hope you guys take a look at it as soon as possible,,, thanks

because if this gk style you developed ,,then we can not choose to show VIDEOS,PHOTOS,EVENTS between SIDE and MAIN CONTENT

In our styles there are just no this options, our theme is special Gavick theme not just a copy of default so this is why you have different options.

I really no have idea how to explain to you that due to changes in JomSocial core code few options are missing, there are no this options even in JomSocial default theme - please look here this is screenshot with DEFAULT JomSocial theme settings >> http://d.pr/i/BbME this is why you don't have additional options in our theme also. You may ask why ? Because few things were removed from original JomSocial theme ...
