Hi Guys on I am still finding my way around GavickPro.

With the templates I use from the other template club I am a member of there is a setting in the Template Settings under themes that lets you choose how the site will look on different mobile devices:

Desktop Layout
Handheld Layout
Iphone Layout
Android Layout

You get to choose which layout goes with which and the layouts always look perfect on an ipad or android. I am sure there must be a similar function with Gavick Pro but I cannot find where it is. Could someone advise me where to find it?

Many thanks Jim

Hi

Recent templates are using a responsive functions which means that one template is changing when opened on different devices. Older templates got an exact functionality you have mentioned in template configuration.

Ok thanks for that so how they appear on an iPad (for example) is how they appear and one cannot change them?

Hi

Like I've said everything depends which template are You using. Some has a completly different templates so modifications needs to be done directly to files /layout/iphone.php, etc

And some are using the same file for all views, so You can modifie it for all, or just by using css overrides for tablet.css or mobile.css file.

Hi

NEWS template is responsive one. So there is only one HTML file for all devices in /layout/default.php than adjustments for group of devices are made in CSS only. In files /css/tablet.css, /css/mobile.css, etc..
