problem with creation of new group of users at K2

It is possible a ridiculous question.
I have in the Financial Business template (Joomla 2.5.8 + K2 2.6.2) a problem with creation of new group of users at K2. I have't such problemm at Joomla users.
Throws out on a mistake in case of creation of new group of users in K2. The same mistake appears when I try to publish article with frontpage.

I resolved the publication with frontpage in K2 settings. Users after registration get to the AUTHOR group.
There is a point to create article at the menu of the users. The window of the editor opens, but thus any material category can't be chosen.

I don't understand what is a mistake.
Help please.

Please check what happen on default Joomla! template like Beez. Did you select access categories in user group settings ? Maybe author's don't have access to any category.

I chose the Beez2 template - Default. The mistake with addition of groups of users remained. In attempt to add new group of users I receive in reply the same mistake

I don't understand in what here a mistake. Help to understand please. The gk_finance_business template nice and functional but a mistake doesn't allow to work to users.
There are two versions of work of users:
- all registrated can create articles and edit another's articles
- all authors can't create article

It looks like there is no mistake but bug in K2 - please try to reinstall extension, if this doesn't help please contact with K2 support.

I reinstalled K2. There was an opportunity to create groups of users without problems.
There was an old problem and editing of someone else's files.
Here that I made:
- I created group AUTHORS with the rights to create and edit the texts
- I permitted to edit from the front page
- after registration the user gets to group AUTHORS

Further.
- I will become authorized, as the AUTHOR: I can create article in Joomla and in K2 - no,
- I will become authorized as the EDITOR: I can create article in Joomla and in K2 - no,
- I will become authorized as Super USER: I can create article in Joomla and in K2. Thus I can edit someone else's texts

It is necessary that the AUTHOR could create and publish articles from a front page and edit only his articles. Someone else's articles AUTHOR can't edit.
There is a menu of the user in which there is a point CREATE ARTICLE in K2.

Prompt where I am mistaken in settings.

Ok, please check what happen of Beez template. If the same it is probably only K2 issue and you should contact with K2 support. The Author groups you've created in Joomla! user groups or K2 user groups ? Of course all this access settings you've configured in K2 user settings ?

Hello.

Everything repeats and in the BEEZ-template the CREATE ARTICLE menu point in JOOMLA is available. It is possible to create and edit the articles. Thus it is possible to edit or delete someone else's articles.
I can't create new article in point of the K2 menu. Only if the user acquires SUPER UZER rights it well.

Settings
In Joomla there are same groups and the rights that is in K2. After registration the new user gets to the AUTHOR group both to Joomla and to K2.

Help please to understand a mistake. Probably, I not so adjust at K2 settings.

Sorry but this looks like problem with K2 not with template. My advisie is to try re-install K2 extension and if this doesn't help contact with K2 support. Your configuration seems fine so I have no idea what could be wrong - our template don't override this all K2 user settings.

I moved my site to other hosting where there is other QSL base.
SQL base improved when reinstalled on new base.
I didn't understand what was a mistake but now everything was recovered. Authors of a site can create and edit the articles. Someone else's articles are unavailable to authors to editing. Now the site works correctly. Thanks for support.

Don't worry it is forum so it will stay opened for other users who can have similar problem - my advise for future please always test on localhost where you can avoid server/hosting problems.
