blank component and SEO

I am thinking to use blank component for two main menu items the "about us" and "how it works". Reason being is that if i use articles and assign them to the main menu, they will also appear in the list with all the articles and i am not very fond of that idea.
I noticed that with blank component there is not metadata option for the module, so any metadata they ll be in the menu item only. While with article there is metadata option for menu item and article..
What is your opinions?

Where you use list of all articles ? Do you have possibility to create a different category only for this two and exclude the category from list ?

Example: Lets say that i have 3 categories: joomla, jomsocial and gavick and articles relevant to each respective category.
Now i want a new category named "ABC" to link the "about us" and "how it works" articles. Each one of those two articles will be linked to a main menu tab.
So main menu tabs would go: Home-About us- How it works -Articles

I don't want the about us and how it works articles to appear in the category with all articles as they are irrelevant to the rest of the articles and looks ugly.

How can i exclude the ABC from the list with the other 3 categories?
I haven't found any way around it so any help would be greatly appreciated..

Maybe I don't uderstand but why you have to use "all articles view" why you can't use categories view and select only this categories that you want to display ? You can achieve this with K2 - in other case use your blank component issue or something similar because I don't know other way.

Ok i will explain it to you. K2 will give me articles in a blog style. As i mentioned i would like to use two articles for about us and how it works, it would not look nice if they looked like blog articles with author,day-date etc details.

I would like them to cover the whole page something like the "typography" article, so my only option is to use the articles.

The only solution i found and give me your opinion if its functionally correct, is to archive the category that includes the articles, then go to main menu and disable the archived articles. Make two new main menu items(about us and how it works) with single article functionality and link the respective archived articles to them.

For me the easiest way is to use Joomla! content for this separated area (like "about us" and "how it works"), but it is up to you how you achieve this effect. Try with blank component - you can always change it when you find easier way.
