It seems that i accidentally changed a value in my database and after that instead of my http://www.mysite.com i get http://www.mysite.com// and of courseits not working.any idea what i should change to fix it?

There is no setting I know of which adds extra trailing slash other then SEF Components or if you specify one in .htaccess file as a rewrite rule.

So I suggest you check those.

You can also check configuration.php for live site which normally is ' ' empty.
