Hello , I making website based on eSport template.Today I search in google my website and :

e-Sport
sorn.ie/
http://sorn.ie/modules/mod_image_show_g ... 28.jpglink · Alva - modern fireplace inserts series · Panorama - Fire Insert with water ...

Why tags are not from front page and showing mod_image _gk . I change in the template and joomnla config name to sorn.ie
How to fix this?

Hi,

Thank you for your quick answer , but I think this is not what I'm looking for. He have sample text before the right text. And google still show his sample text even after change.
On my site everything is that showing google . On my main page I have gavick image slide show as module even the picture is the same name like in the link http://sorn.ie/modules/mod_image_show_g ... is-228.jpg . I'm using eSport template like showing on the top. So clear the cache in google will not fix the problem. Anyway I will try , but maybe you have different idea?

The domain start working yesterday .

Please try to clear the cache data from Google first, if it doesn't help I will check further to find another solution for you.

In the template settings I change site logo name, and now name of the site is fine. Do you known why google takes description form slidshow module.

I known is Seo not template but why showing module , please help.

Yesterday I install add-on Easy Front end Seo I change destription and title on every page and they work showing fine but this one where is gk slide show showing module destripction.

Hi,

I have found this discussion and tried debugging the site for you and found out that GoogleBot can't detect description meta tag in your site somehow, please take a look as well http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/in ... 746AA0rmey

Everything in there is fine, however I can't understand why Google can't detect your description meta data. In some days, if it is not changed, please send me a PM to provide with FTP access of the site then I will try to check in the code for you.

Yes, it's more like a SEO matter, Google has different data from your site rather than others because it has a different logic in its search engine I guess

I use http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html to check my website with googlebot and looks fine. I don't know why google index articles non published in joomla (site:sorn.ie) . But like I told you before I need to learn more about this and google politics. One again thank you.

When did you change your description? With Google you need to be patient as it might take up to 2 weeks for Google to crawl your webpages and index the new information. If you didn't have any description prior to changing that google try to substitute a text from the your content in order to show something on search result. I don't know why it shows the image show code instead but It might just because it couldn't find the description.

I would also add a longer description (no more than 160) as Google sometimes skip the short descriptions.
