Hi

To set any component for any page You need to choose a propper menu item type while constructing/editing menu item settings. With frontpage there is one difference where You need to check in template settings if component is allowed to appear on frontpage.

This files in /html/com_k2/ are responding to modifications, the one from component folder will not.

Hi

No, no, no. You can't replace it like that. If it's for a module than please simply unpublish registration module You have now and use K2_user module in "regiset" module position. If it's about register page than all You need to do is to edit a menu item which links to it and change it's type to K2 registration.

If You will have more problems with this. Please send me an access to Your joomla panel so I'll make it for You.

thanks but...not find any:)
1) "k2_user module" show login and password of user and not registration page.
on this module, when click on "create account" i go on joomla registration page.
i show on this picture number 1:
1.jpg

2) if i want to create menu with registration page now i can't because not exixt page "ke_registration"
i put picture number 2:
2.jpg

this passage you write i do on joomla 1.5 and 1.6 and 1.7
in this case not exixt.

it is possible to set it?
thanks very much

Hi

Sorry. Have no idea now. This is why I want to look at it. I do not thing a file modification will be required. Hopefully it's posible with just configuration.

Hi

I'm not the one who is configuring demos, but I will found an answer anyway. But problem is I do not understand the question. Are You talking about merging K2 users with joomla ? Or just about replacing login and register modules with K2 ones ?

Hi

Ok. I've search K2 forum and looks like it should use the same login page as joomla, but users mentioned problem You have.

A solution can be to create a normal article where K2 login module is loaded using an example code:

Code: Select all
{loadposition k2login}

Than You publish K2 login module in this "k2login" position and all should be fine.
