I got a message from my host. "You have reached 90% of the allowed inode quota"
It was a link to a page what describe what to do. For me it says nothing. I should delete files I do not need.
You, my friends, know what I does not need. I run Joomla 1.5 and the template The World News II

What folders can I delete? It was mentioned something about cache. I have one folder name temp. Can I delete the content of that ?

Hi

Sorry I do not understand. If You want to clear cache do this via joomla panel in TOOLS->CLEAR CACHE. But it doesn't look like this is the problem. Please explain it to me better.

Can you please tell me which folders and files I can delete at my site.
In the public_html I see "cache" which I believe I can empty???
Also files in the "tmp" folder.
Are there anything else I can do to decrease open files (which I understand is inodes)

Hi

Unfortunately I've never heared files or folders are called inodes. But sure You can empty /cache (but better do this from joomla panel using option clear cache) and /tmp

You can delete /insallation folder if You have it yet.

You can also use joomla extention manager to uninstall all extentions You are not using, like defult templates and plugins which are unpublished.

Hi

Ok. All the matter that it's working. But to be honest I've never seen such problem reported before. So I doubt it's about a joomla itself. It has to be something related with server configuration.
