I can usually figure most things out and I have googled up to the eyeballs on this. I have spliced an image and put it in a custom html module for the front page but now there are these spaces between each splice.
How do I get rid of these spaces? Please please can someone save me from tearing all my hair out.

Looks like you need to remove left & right padding from the table and change table heights accordingly to remove the big space above and below. I could help if you email with site access and ftp.
