On the TheWorldNews II template the demo has a video on it. I installed the demo contect and the video was not there. How do i embed my own Vimeo or YouTube video into that spot to look like the one on the demo.

Video you can embeed via mod_custom module where you can place any html code also embeed code from vimeo or youtube.

Okay, that did not really help. I have the demo content installed like on the site and i copied the iframe code from Vimeo and youtube into a html section of a custom mod and nothing happened.

You use tinyMCE editor ? if yes it probably strip html tags, please switch the user editor to no-editor and try again, then code should be fully saved and you will see video. If you use search option you surely find some topics about this problem but this is not related with template etc. but with editor settings.
