Hello,

Relatively new to gavick template. I have existing joomla installed with some basic template.
Now i want to quickly test out gavick template as per what I see in those demo without much hassle. How can I do that?

I need some documentation on this. I did read up on the new installation but it is not for my case.

Hi,

Is the Joomla site new for you nor you have used it for a long time already? If it's new you can ignore and download quickstart package of the template to install to have a Joomla site looking like our demo site, otherwise you will need to download rest files package also to install some other extensions as well as installing quickstart to compare configurations to apply for your site.

I hope you get it.

Cheers,

Hi Don,

there are content in there. I will like to just quickly review the template just like how I could try out other template by uploading and apply it.

I have download the rest files package. What do I do with them? Can you point me to the document for this?

Hi,

After downloading rest files package, you extract it and will see folders with modules and plugins.., then install whatever you want via Extension Manager in your backend, I can't tell more otherwise I would write a blog post herein :D I'm really sorry that currently we don't have much documentation for our products, you could check some out at https://www.gavick.com/documentation/ however I can't promise that it is sufficient.

And as I said in previous post, you should install Quickstart somewhere to get demo's configurations. I can just point solutions out once I get specific issue/request...

HI Don,

Indeed. There is a lack of document. This could save a lot of repeating explanation in the forum. I guess everyone will love you more if you blog these guide down.
