how do i alter so after registration go to a certain page

I want to be able to have my users go to a specific page after registering only. Not logging in. I only want them to go to this page after registering not each time they login. And i don't want a link sent after registering.

The easiest way is use some external login extensions - not the default Joomla! one. You can look at extensions.joomla.org you will surely find some advanced login module.
