Plese help understand how to set corect multilanguage menus

Could you plese help me to understand how to set default homepage for each language, for english "Home" for latvian "Sākums"?

main meny with Home set to "all" and all menu items there with coresponding languages


latvian home with one defautl item set to latvian

English home with one default set to english

Both latvian and english menus contain each one item with selected coresponding language.

I canot put items to coresponding menus because gavick templates support one menu. So i put all in main menu.

How i understand that corect would be if all items is in coresponding menus and menu modules in each language set to menu possition?


I unpublished default home in main menu and set it in other menu with language all. So home is hidden

So all works except when i write address www.yoursite.com it shows nothing, exept default site language manu, and language swicher. Could i set some other meny item like landing page?

Please simply set this content that you want to display on root url to this menu item, in short words you can simply copy/duplicate modules from one of languages and set it to both. Please also check whether the mainbody and component are enable on frontend in template settings (this option you can find under the first tab)
