Hi there,

I was browsing through the Gavick Documentation Library and noticed that the only way to install a template quickstart package is to unzip files on your local hard drive then use an FTP program to upload the files to your server.

There is another way for anyone using cPanel...

If anyone is interested in the process let me know here and I will create a how-to video for you.

Colin.

This is not the only way but most common and available for all users, in other cases you can upload package and unzip it directly on server via ssh or cPanel but remember that now every hosting have this features.

So if every host has this feature why hasn't the documentation been updated to include this? I am sure there are a lot of users that would appreciate an alternative to the painfully slow FTP method.

Just a thought...

Not every hosting gives you access to phpmyadmin or SSH. But in every hosting you have access via FTP.
