K2 component overrides template layouts

Hi,

do I have to set in the template that I use K2 component?

What happens when I use K2 component it overrides the following template settings:

- The social API styles. In the template I put german language. But K2 shows it in english now - default k2 I guess.
- Print/Email Icon is just text and not the template icons.

I guess it is rather a K2 issue. So if you have no idea I will take a look at their forum. I do not want to waste your time.
